Therapy for young people figuring out who they are — from someone who's been in those spaces her whole life.
If you're a queer teen, a neurodivergent young adult, or someone navigating the intersection of multiple identities at once — I've spent my life in your communities. Not as an observer. As a member. I bring that understanding into clinical work alongside evidence-based training.
At a Glance
Queer, disabled, neurodivergent — not just affirming, but from the inside
I've been involved with queer and disabled youth and young adults my entire life. Starting in middle school, I spent years working in an improv and theater program for neurodivergent young adult actors. I've helped transgender friends navigate social, medical, and legal transitions. This isn't a population I studied — it's the community I come from.
As a bi, chronically ill woman, I bring personal understanding of what it means to hold multiple marginalized identities at once. That doesn't replace clinical training — it sharpens it.
Teens and young adults in transition
I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ teenagers and young adults navigating life transitions — coming out, gender exploration, leaving home, starting college, building new relationships, and finding their footing in a world that doesn't always make room. My crisis work at Crisis Text Line taught me how to meet young people in their most difficult moments and help them find a path forward.
I also work with neurodivergent children and adolescents, including those with autism, ADHD, and co-occurring mental health concerns. My research focuses on understanding neurodivergent young people's preferences for digital mental health tools — because access matters, and not everyone connects best in a traditional therapy office.
How I work
I use cognitive behavioral approaches adapted for children, teens, and young adults. I'm trained in diagnostic interviewing and neuropsychological assessment, and I incorporate client feedback into treatment planning because therapy should be shaped by the person in the room, not just the clinician.
I'm also an intermediate ASL signer, currently deepening my skills through connection with the Deaf community. I'm committed to expanding access to mental health care for people who have historically been underserved — through technology, through language, and through showing up in the communities that need it most.
Not just an ally. A member of the community.
From the Inside
There's a difference between a therapist who has read about your experience and one who has lived alongside it. I've been in queer spaces, disabled spaces, and neurodivergent communities my whole life. That's not a credential — it's a foundation.
